Introduction
This portfolio will serve to highlight my various professional and compositional skills development in regards to compositions for video-games. Aspects such as instructional brief interpretation, client communication, compositional skills, use of third-party software, and general criteria following will exhibit the skills I've learnt during my time developing this portfolio. The reflection at the end will provide insight into the expectations I have for the future impact this portfolio will have on my career.

The portfolio is divided into several sections, including some context which explains the reasons and decisions I made regarding the nature of my portfolio as well as my choice of preferred career. The portfolio then proceeds with 5 examples of my work covering a range of projects with a variety of genres and needs which at the end of the portfolio should exhibit my skills as well as aspects I can still learn from.
context
My project began with a deep insight into my reasons for enrolling in my Music Technology (BAs) degree at the University of Liverpool. During the years leading up to my application for higher education, I took a deeper understanding of my life goals and understood that I wanted to create music for mediums that inspired me to better my skills in music. This, in turn, enabled me to appreciate which aspects of the music industry I was the most interested in. I began searching for opportunities to compose for long-term productions and projects to sign onto.
Unfortunately, the lack of a professional portfolio led to much disinterest and rejection; I, therefore, found an opportunity on a publicly available discord server named "Game Dev league", a hub for composers and skilled coders, artists and game developers alike searching for opportunities to collaborate and sign onto projects. I posted an advert explaining that I was prepared to work for free in the efforts of creating a portfolio, and within a matter of days, 5 developers contacted me with interest in my skills as a composer and provided me with briefs as well as conceptual material in order to provide me with a source of inspiration for the projects.
Below are my compositions for each project, accompanied by some visual elements provided to me by the developer, followed by a brief commentary of each project and the steps I took in completing each of my compositions.
